About Us
What is Ocean Cube?

Ocean Cube Exhibit is an immersive pop-up exhibit that offers participants a futuristic habitable under-sea world. It is a world where coral reef becomes traffic tunnel, jellyfish and whale become transportation portals, and shopping malls are made of pearls and bubbles. It is an incredible world also because everything is bio-luminescent - all the beautiful creatures emits soft light and you just could not look at them enough. Ocean Cube Exhibit also intends to raise concerns of our impact on the environment by providing a proactive approach to design and community integration.

Recycling Effort

Ocean Cube collaborates with Sure We Can which was founded in 2007 to provide canners -people who collect cans and bottles from the streets- a welcoming place to redeem and connect with others engaged in the same endeavor. Ocean Cube has acquired one thousand bottles from Sure We Can to make our last room "Recycle Bank" which illustrates a sea of plastic bottles with a vanishing sea creature.

Another recycling effort was to constantly salvage and reuse the waste material during the fabrication process. The plexi-glass installation in the transition room was all from salvaging the leftover of cutting the jellyfish and shark. The big signage board was from an abandoned window glass. The storage shelves were found on street... We are planning to either sell or donate all the installations after the show is over, to minimize throwing waste back our environment.
